About Me

Since 2010 I have been working as a Commercial Photographer and Photography Trainer. My Commercial customers include Architects, Builders, Kitchen designers and Restaurants. I also lead Photographic Holidays for a company called HF Holidays, based in Penrith.

Since 2007 I have taught Photography & Photoshop in a secondary school, in adult education, for a photographic shop, for clubs and for individuals.

I have also completed photographic commissions for a variety of business & charity customers such as The National Trust and the Bristol Record Office.

Please see http://www.neilmccoubrey.com for examples of my work.

Before starting my degree at UWE I had been with HP (Hewlett Packard) for 32 years using my engineering, process management and analytical skills across multiple Manufacturing, Training and Sales roles. My final 10 years at HP were spent in Sales Operations managing the Sales Planning, Distribution and Financial transactions for European Retail customers. This included a 2 year secondment in Barcelona to set up a multi-lingual customer support centre.

In 2010 took redundancy from HP in order to focus upon my Photographic degree and to build my photographic practice.
